One clear path from joining to teaching
Create a live presentation from an existing lesson or worksheet. Praktikal keeps the join details, waiting room, and presentation controls in the same flow.
Students connect through a QR code, direct link, or lesson ID. You see who has joined, decide when the lesson starts, and change the pace as the presentation develops.
1 Invite students
Share the route that works in the room
Every live presentation has join details you can show or send. Students can scan the QR code, open the direct link, or enter the lesson ID.
Students can join without an account when you have not required them to sign in.
- Keep the QR code on screen while students connect.
- Reopen the join details for anyone arriving later.
2 Start together
See who is ready before the lesson begins
The joined count updates as students enter the waiting room. Sharing the join details does not start the presentation.
Select Start lesson when you are ready to move everyone from waiting into the live material.
3 Choose the pace
Keep students with you, or let them move
Turn follow mode on when everyone should see the slide you are presenting. The control confirms the state with “Students following you”.
Turn it off for “Students navigate freely”, so students can move through the available slides themselves.
- Follow mode appears when a presentation has more than one slide.
- It is off by default unless you have changed the presentation setting.
- You can change the mode during the live presentation.
4 Continue to results
Open results from the question when you need them
Question slides provide a Results control that opens the live-results view for that question.
That handoff leads into Praktikal’s live-results feature, where response review continues.
