What this lets you do
One set of Praktikal authoring tools. Two ways to reach it
Use Praktikratt when you want AI beside the lesson already open in Praktikal. If ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP client is already part of your workflow, connect it to Praktikal instead.
Both routes can work with your Praktikal content and authoring capabilities. External clients connect through OAuth, and the material they may read or change remains bounded by your Praktikal access.
1 Choose where to work
Use Praktikratt here, or connect the AI tool you already use
Open Praktikratt beside the lesson you are building when you want the current material already in context. Or connect ChatGPT, Claude or another compatible AI client to Praktikal through MCP.
Both routes work directly with Praktikal materials. The connected client can search content you may access and use Praktikal authoring tools within your account permissions.
- Use the in-app assistant beside an open lesson
- Connect an existing AI client through MCP and OAuth
2 Set the task
Describe the draft, or attach the source it should use
Give the assistant a bounded job. For example: “Create a short energy transfer recap. Keep the key definitions and add three varied questions.”
You can also attach a PDF, Word document or image. Name the learner level, the intended length, what to preserve and the kind of questions you want.
- Start from a clear brief, PDF, Word file or image
- Ask for one concrete result in the open material
3 Choose the working mode
Inside Praktikal, think together first or propose edits
When you use Praktikratt, choose Plan to inspect the material, discuss the structure and agree the approach before anything changes. Plan mode is read-only until you approve the plan.
Choose Act when the task is clear and you want the assistant to propose real edits. Writes ask for approval by default. You can deliberately enable auto-approve for future edits in that session.
- Plan keeps the conversation read-only
- Act can propose changes to the open material
4 Keep the final say
Review the proposed change, then edit the result normally
Before a write runs, the approval card can show where new content will be inserted or what an update will change. Approve it, deny it or approve future edits for the current session.
Accepted content becomes ordinary Praktikal material. Open the new worksheet, edit each block, reorder the questions or ask the assistant for a more focused revision.
- Check the target and proposed content before approval
- Continue with editable native content and question types
